DONATION BOXES IN THE PARK
“Hello. I just wanted to send you folks a line to let you know how much my husband and I enjoy driving the Cades Cove loop. We live in big Stone Gap Va. and every time we go through we always donate at the last box at the end of the loop, and we have seen many many cars go by these boxes and never stop. We think that the trip through the cove is priceless and every car should make a donation even if its just a small one. The beauty is just breath taking there, and I just cannot put into words the awe and wonder of it all. We was there earlier in May this year and saw six bears. As I said before Its just simply priceless. Thank you.”
- Gary and Paula D.
Great Smoky Mountains National Park is the only major national park without an entrance fee. Most other national parks charge $10 to $20 per vehicle. We believe the Smokies experience is worth a whole lot more! On your next visit to the park, please consider a donation a few pennies or a few dollars to help support visitor facilities, trails, wildlife conservation, historic preservation, and education programs. Donation boxes are located at all of the park's visitor centers, as well as several outdoor locations, including Cades Cove, Cataloochee Valley, and Newfound Gap.
Which ever way you choose to give, thank you for helping to preserve and protect Great Smoky Mountains National Park!
